The best comercial of 2010

Here in Brazil is showing on Tv a great comercial from a bank that I believe that the whole world should watch it....

The comercial talks about hope that we still have to live in a world with peace despite your color and religion. And yes I truly believe that its possible and I really hope that day comes soon.

Iemanja Day!

Odó Iyá Iemanja!

Odó Iyá! Lets greet Feb 2nd...Iemanja Day!

I almost let it pass, but I guess that still time to greet and thank Iemanja for the great 2009 I had and to ask for her blessings for 2010, not only for me but for all the ones that I love and consider...

But who is Iemanja? Probably the great part of the reads do not know, so lets me explain quickly. Iemanja is an orixa from an African religion called Camdomble in Brazil, where she considered the Queen of the Ocean (who protects the fisherman) and the feminine principle of creation (a very protective feminine figure, symbolizing the motherhood). Here in Brazil we generally celebrate her day on February Second, specially in Bahia (in the northeast), with a big celebration party at the beach where people go to thank for the blessings, offer gifts to thank them and also to ask for new blessings and a great fortune during the year.

In my opinion is one of the most beautiful parties, where everybody got together with good intentions, to praise her and do their offers like mirrors, flowers, perfumes, since she is considered a very feminine, girly woman. I can tell you all for sure that the energy that you feel during it is great and it is a kind of experience that you should live at lea'st once, like New Year's and Carnival in Rio.

So why do not you organize yourself and join it next year!!!!
